Course Aims:

This course is aimed at anyone required to work at height or anyone who has a duty to understand these regulations. It will ensure that delegates are aware of the new legislation affecting them.

Course Objectives:

By the end of the course delegates should:

• Appreciate the causations of accidents when working at height
• Understand the requirements of the Work at Height Regulations 2005
• Know the requirements relating to the use of ladders, tower scaffolds, scaffolds and mobile elevating working platform
• Address working at height risks to reduce risks by design
• Understand the working at height issues to enable meaningful risk assessments to be prepared
