Laboratory and write up Reconfiguration
Project Overview: The project involved the refurbishment existing rooms to form new write up areas and laboratory space. Works consisted a small amount of demolition and stripping out of glazed office cubicle, partitioning, and the decommissioning and removal of BSRIA unit, fume cupboard, and safety cabinet. The ceiling system was removed, as well as lighting and associated ceiling fittings. Old write up benching was removed as well as shelves and storage units. Existing sheet vinyl flooring was removed with some floor areas being repaired and cleaned. New ceiling system was installed as well as the decoration of the walls and new carpet tiles to some rooms. In regard to mechanical and electrical works; existing electrical services, medical gases, and domestic water services were stripped back to points of isolation and modified to suit new layouts, as well as the existing air distribution system. The HVAC plant and controls located on the roof were upgraded

Radio Chemical Laboratory
Project Overview: The strip out and refurbishment of an existing laboratory. This included removal of existing fixtures and fittings and fume cupboards, suspended ceiling, floor surface, mechanical and electrical services and air handling/extraction duct work. New installations included mechanical and electrical services, ceiling and floor finishes, air handling/extraction ductwork, fixtures and fittings including fume cupboards. The work was than completed by full redecoration. Work was also carried out in the roof area and involved the replacement of the air handling unit and chiller, with associated mechanical services and ductwork.
