The Company CDM Co-ordinators are aware of the statistics for construction fatalities and accidents published by the Health and Safety Executive. It acknowledges that these figures are unacceptably high and the loss of life and disability and pain caused by accidents are very much preventable.

The Company proactively challenges Designers regarding the safety of buildings including maintenance of them and the subsequent demolition. We encourage them to consider and address these issues at the earliest stage in the design process. The Company has developed a number of tools to assist its CDM Co-ordinators in this regard.

CPS UK offers, and has successfully provided, training on the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007 with particular emphasis on Regulation 11 for Designers.
